Tomahawk Steak

The tomahawk steak is essentially a Ribeye Steak specifically cut with at least five inches of rib bone left intact. The extra-long, French trimmed handle bone utilizes the same culinary technique that shapes a rack of lamb.

Use a high heat in a pan or on the grill. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Season steaks generously with salt (and pepper as desired). Get the top, bottom, and all the sides. Sear the steak for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, letting the flames lick up the sides. Bake in the 375 degree preheated oven until the steak reaches an internal temperature of 130 degrees. Let rest 5-10 minutes.
