This milk comes from specific breeds like Jersey and Guernsey, or cows selectively bred to carry the A2A2 gene, aiming to reduce digestive discomfort some people experience with A1 protein due to the release of a peptide called BCM-7. Often marketed as easier to digest and potentially beneficial for those with mild dairy sensitivities.
