Yes, most Nutrient Farm crops are certified USDA Organic by WFCFO.
Nutrient Farm - USDA Organic Certificate
Nutrient Farm - WFCFO Addendum UPDATED - 7.29.2024
The remaining crops that have not been certified Organic are only because they are new and they did not make the cut off date. They are though cultivated with the same level of stewardship as the rest of the certified organic crops and they will soon be added to our Organic certification program.
Meat products are preparing for the certification process by taking control of the butchering and processing processes.
Organic certified products will begin the application process for Demeter Biodynamic Certification. This is expected to begin in 2025.
All 3rd party products resold are Wild, certified Organic or certified Biodynamic.
Not yet, but Nutrient Farm just had 400 varieties of Crops certified Organic and is working to have everything else certified as well.
When Organic certification is achived, Nutrient Farm will begin the application process for Demeter Biodynamic Certification. This is expected to begin in 2025.
Accessing the public BLM Vulcan Allotment through Nutrient Farm's East Pasture is PERMITTED under the following conditions:
June through April - Hunting access is PERMITTED
Nutrient Farm is happy to facilitate access for Hunters from June through April (11 months) each year (carrying a current "Nutrient Farm Recreational Trails Permit") and their equipment (guns/traps) to cross the South end of Nutrient Farm’s PRIVATE East Pasture on the gravel road known as “Nutrient BLM Trail” (see on Recreational Trails page linked above) to reach the entrance (yellow gate) of the Vulcan BLM Allotment.
May - Hunting access is NOT PERMITTED
Every May, Nutrient Farm has a large cattle grazing operation in the Vulcan BLM Allotment. For the safety of our employees and livestock, Hunting access is not permitted during the month of May. This is a very serious program that cannot be interrupted by Hunting activities. Violators of this critical safety policy will vigilantly be considered trespassers and the Sheriff will be contacted. The farm is under 24 hour video surveillance.
Hunting and Trapping (collectively "Hunting") on the "private property" (Nutrient Farm) is NOT PERMITTED.
Vehicular access across Nutrient Farm's East pasture to the BLM is NOT PERMITTED.
Vehicular access in the Vulcan BLM Allotement is NOT PERMITTED by the BLM.

We aim to produce foods that support raising the Omega-3 and lowering the Omega-6 Linoleic Acid in our meals for a healthier, more ancestrally accurate balance in our diets.
Seed oils clog up cell membranes leading to diabetes and obesity. Some have a half-life close to 680 days making it take more than 8 years to meaningfully remove from your system and return the cell membranes back to a normal composition.
Nutrient Farm asked ChatGPT4, the most powerful artifical intelligence super computer this question and it replied:
Aiming to maximize Omega-3 and minimize Omega-6 Linoleic Acid in your diet is often recommended for several health-related reasons:
Balancing Omega-3 and Omega-6 Ratios: Our ancestors consumed a diet with roughly equal amounts of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. However, modern diets tend to be heavy in Omega-6s (found in many vegetable oils, processed foods, and grain-fed animal products) and low in Omega-3s. This imbalance is linked to chronic inflammation, which is a risk factor for many diseases.
Reducing Inflammation: Omega-3 fatty acids (found in fatty fish, flaxseeds, and walnuts) are known for their anti-inflammatory properties. Increasing Omega-3 intake while reducing Omega-6 can help reduce chronic inflammation in the body, which is associated with health conditions like heart disease, arthritis, and autoimmune diseases.
Cardiovascular Health: Higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acids are associated with reduced risk of cardiovascular diseases. They help in lowering blood pressure, reducing triglyceride levels, and decreasing the risk of heart arrhythmias.
Brain Health: Omega-3 fatty acids are crucial for brain health. They are important for maintaining the structure of brain cell membranes and have been linked to a reduced risk of neurodegenerative diseases and improved mental health.
Omega-6 Linoleic Acid and Chronic Diseases: While Omega-6 fatty acids are essential and must be obtained from the diet, excessive consumption of linoleic acid (a type of Omega-6) has been linked in some studies to increased inflammation and may be associated with an increased risk of chronic diseases, though this is still a debated topic in nutrition science.
Improved Cell Function: Omega-3 fatty acids are a key component of cell membranes throughout the body and affect the function of the cell receptors in these membranes. They provide the starting point for making hormones that regulate blood clotting, contraction and relaxation of artery walls, and inflammation.
It's important to note that while optimizing the ratio of Omega-3 to Omega-6 in your diet can have health benefits, both types of fatty acids are essential and should be included in your diet. The goal is to achieve a healthy balance between the two.
